I’m Melissa, the creator behind SquirrelSpace.

This shop began as a dream back in 2025, during a time when life was throwing more at me than I ever expected. I’ve walked through challenges involving autism, addiction and recovery, and a recent diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer. Today, I’m clean, rebuilding my life, and currently undergoing chemotherapy with hope and determination.

Through everything, my faith has been a source of strength, and I truly believe I’ve been given a second chance. That belief inspires every design I create.

My goal is simple:
to share positive, uplifting messages in a world that often feels heavy.
If something I make brings even a little light into someone’s day, then this shop is doing exactly what I hoped it would.
